Case Study【Ministry of Economic Affairs, Water Resources Agency Disaster Relief Progra】
This project aims to complement drought-resistant wells and pond water purification efforts in the Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli regions by installing large-scale water purification equipment and implementing related measures to supplement the local water supply system for domestic use. It is scheduled to commence at the end of January 2021 and includes the operation and maintenance of the water purification equipment by a designated operator. Global Water Internation Ltd. has been entrusted with the procurement and installation of the Northern Region's drought-resistant well water purification equipment, aiming to effectively alleviate drought emergencies and provide essential water supplies for public consumption. This initiative aims to mitigate national losses due to drought caused by insufficient rainfall, thereby achieving the objectives of drought resistance.

The project utilizes a treatment approach involving MMF multi-layer filtration systems, RO ultrafiltration systems, and SW seawater desalination systems. Through this equipment set, contaminants such as iron, manganese, and arsenic in groundwater are filtered to meet drinking water standards, addressing inadequate water sources across various regions.
