Description:
Brackish water treatment、Municipal water supply、Boiler feed water、Industrial pure water production、Preparation of electronic grade ultra-pure water、Production of drinking water and pure water
-
Hydranautics, founded in 1963, became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nitto Denko Corporation of Japan in 1987.
Since entering the reverse osmosis water treatment field in 1970, Hydranautics has consistently pursued advanced manufacturing techniques, highest product quality, and excellent customer service.
Today, it stands as one of the leading manufacturers of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes, renowned for its wide range of product specifications, large-scale production capabilities, and numerous patents. Hydranautics is ISO9001 certified for its production of reverse osmosis membranes.
Currently, Hydranautics operates three membrane production facilities globally: in California, USA; Shiga Prefecture, Japan; and Shanghai, China. Both the US and Japan facilities boast integrated production lines from membrane casting to membrane element assembly, while the Shanghai facility specializes in assembling 4-inch reverse osmosis membrane elements.
The 4040-YQS membrane is a 4-inch high-performance reverse osmosis membrane developed by Nitto Denko/Hydranautics using ESPA (Energy Saving Poly Amide) technology. It features stable desalination performance, high water production (up to 11 tons per day), resistance to fouling, and easy cleaning, ensuring long-term system stability and reducing operational costs for users. Specifically designed for ultra-low-pressure applications in drinking water and pure water systems, the ESPA series membranes were pioneeringly introduced by Hydranautics in May 1995 as energy-efficient, high-flux composite reverse osmosis membranes.
Compared to traditional low-pressure membranes, ESPA membranes operate at 25-40% lower pressures under similar water production capacities. Their characteristics of high water flux and desalination efficiency significantly lower equipment manufacturing costs, reduce system operational expenses, and conserve substantial energy resources. -
