RO Membrane
Applicable to various brands of RO water purifiers
Description:
-
Filtering viruses, bacteria, toxins, and heavy metals such as arsenic, aluminum, mercury, cadmium, lead, and limestone from water, achieving potable standards (TDS less than 40 PPM).
The filter's lifespan is approximately two years or varies based on water usage. Replace it if there's limescale in the water, if it gets clogged and water flow is obstructed, or if a TDS meter shows levels exceeding 40 PPM, indicating the filter cartridge is no longer effective.
-
It is necessary to use a pre-filter to remove larger particles of suspended solids or impurities, as well as chlorine, before filtration. This prevents larger impurities from blocking the filter cartridge or chlorine from corroding the RO membrane surface and causing damage
-
In areas with high water hardness, it is recommended to increase the waste water ratio or use a water softening system as a pre-treatment to extend the life of the RO membrane
